30 SEPTEMBER

Very long time ago, wasn't it? We have been moving the whole summer so I must say that all my energy just disappeared during this summer. We have moved from Borlänge to a place outside a city named Leksand. Where we live now we can also have our horses at home and a lot of time is spent in the stable.

The "puppies" are now two years old and seems to develop well. Aleeze has made the Swedish MH with a good result and Azlan and Arwen have been X-rayed for HD, result: Hips OK.

Our Yanta became nine years old 1 of August and she is still like a youngster. Picture below:

Alva did spend one week here this summer and she has really developed well, pictures:

Below also a pic of Gero and one of Arwen also from this summer:

Nowadays, our time is a lot in the stable, Lennart with his racehorse Deel River and the children with the ponies Månstorps Malou and then a borrowed pony, a stallion named Johannesbergs Noble, pictures below:

Now this summer hasn't just been happiness. Together with animals everything can happen, and the 11 september something happened that was and still is very, very hard to live with. Our third pony Tuffi, the one and only for us did hurt herself so badly so we had to put her to sleep at the animalhospital. This is still hurting us inside badly and will take time but we have to move on meanwhile. Thank you Tuffi for everything....

Now I 'm back with some updates. It has been a wonderful weekend with a very happy Sunday. As I was out walking in the afternoon with the pony and Hannah riding, worried to death about how Arnie would behave during his MH test I got a "beep" in my pocket. I got a message from Germany that said: Arwen got her first CAC and became BOB! in Gütersloh. Judge was Mr Becht. Once again, you are great, Kerstin, Oliver and of course Arwen. Many hugs from us here in north.

Arnie made his MH, which is a test where the dog has go trough different parts to se how the reactions are like for example fear, threat etc. Because ZTP is not necessary in Sweden we have "our" own MH instead, it's necessary to have for breeding and for working. Arnie made actually a good MH. He isn't afraid, he is active but also calm when it is necessary. He is not very social but ha accepts people and says "hello" when he needs. He wasn't so interested in playing with objects but the owner said that he has never done it more than with the other dog in the house but now they will do that for the korung in the future. To summarize, it was a very nice Sunday, one dog BOB and another with a good MH. WOW!!!

9 MARCH

Long time no see. Now my final essay is done and after that i have had some children beeing ill for some time but now I hope they have recovered so everything will be normal again.

This part of the year it is just quiet. Because I don't have any dogs for shows I just check for the results from shows from all places and this makes internet outstanding, you can get all kinds of information home to you. For the moment I put a lot of time on our children and the horses because beeing with horses is a very relaxing thing and both Emma and Hannah train ponytrotters so for me it is important to take part in their interest.

I want to thank my puppybuyers again for all nice emails and phonecalls. It's so nice to know what happens to them because I still feel for them very much. Below some nice and happy pictures of some in the litter, Arnie, Athoz and Athina. I also have a picture showing a male, Rondo von Erab out of Lemon-Lexis Ginga House, living in Japan sent to me by a very good friend, thank you for the picture.

About my plans with Kena, I will present more when everything is clear...

20 JANUARY

I thought I wrote here just a few days ago but now I realise it is 20 days ago. I'm totally focused on my final essay in school. It's impossible to do someting else for the moment so I really hope there will be an end soon...

Yesterday we had hard wind, and a mix of snow and rain. Today it is sunny BUT very icy outside so it is almost impossible to walk, I think it would be better to skate instead.

About the dogs it is "vacation" this time of the year. I got some bad news that Yantas brother York v h Wantishof got ill and died. Things like this reminds me how short time we have our dogs. Still I'm glad that Yanta is like a puppy and I hope she will stay so for a long time...

Last weekend we went for a trip to pick up a new fourlegged eight months old "baby". Her name is Månstorps Malou and she is a Shetlandspony. Her pedigree is top with one of the best in trotting as father, Gläntans Domino. Her mother Salebodas Ellen has given birth to many ponies that belongs to the top in Sweden and Norway in trotting. Below some pictures of Malou and of Emma and Hannah when they got the honour and pleasure to take a trip with Domino.

2007 was a year full of joy , but also sorrow. Though, I hope that 2008 will be a good year for all of us. If someone wants to read what have happened earlier years it's just to look in my archive up to the right.

For the moment in Sweden there is a commercial on TV where four cropped dobermanns in a labyrinth hunts towards a room with people. These people are put to solve a problem and IF they don't do it what do you think will happen? Do you think it's right with this type of commercial when we during so many years have worked to show people what a wonderful breed dobermann is?

In Sweden they show a lot of programs about dogs with problems and the owners get help to solve these problems. At least in these programs you hardly see a dobermann, but very often smaller dogs, and most of the problems are made by the owners.

Sad enough the media often writes when something happens in the world where a dog is involved, and because of the reputation dobermann has it feels that our breed NEVER are allowed to do any mistakes at all, or even behave like a dog. Often when I'm out walking with my dogs I meet so called petdogs and many of them behaves like monsters. I'm glad my dogs never say anything...

Dobermann is a wonderful breed when it lives with good people who knows what the breed needs (it's the same for all dogs). Below a picture how it looks like at home...

23 DECEMBER

Yesterday I received the message I didn’t want to have but I knew it would come. One of my most appreciated friends Ria Visser – Jans is not longer among us. After a shorter time of illness Ria passed away on 19 december. Under her kennelname Hermansjomaik many topdogs were born and one of them was Esmir v Hermansjomaik. I think that Esmir was one of the greatest females in breed with excellent progeny in the kennelname van het Wantij.

As a person Ria was always honest. She had an enourmous knowledge about our breed and could always pick out the best puppies in a litter. Every time I met her she always had some tips to give and those tips I also use. Most of all Ria loved children and when for example Hannah and Christopher visited Ria and Jaap she always focused on them and gave them all her attention.
I will always remember Ria with joy and for the moment my thoughts are with Rias life companion Jaap, her children and grandchildren…

The typical Swedish winter has arrived, snow, rain, cold and ice. So useless because you can hardly anything outside. Well I'm happy for the news from "my" puppies. Arwen has been to tha last show for this year (I think). She won her class and became Youth Winner Kassel 2007! What a year for her, Oliver and Kerstin. Thank you for all you are doing!

Also Arwen has some more litter mates and hopefully some of them gets out next year. I also want to thank the owners to the others in the litter. Below some pictures of Athoz, recently taken, nice to see him. I have also cleande up a bit on my litter page, more to come...

Arwen is also very good in working so she's a combination of beauty and brain. Her titles this year are: IDC-jugendsieger 2007, Bundesjugendsieger 2007, Luxembourg youth champion, Baden-Württemberg Sieger 2007, Youth Winner Kassel 2007

11 NOVEMBER

Last week we got snow and I think that means that the winter is here. I really don't like snow but I can't do anything to make it disappear so, SMILE... Instead I get some wonderful results from Germany that makes the feeling more summerlike. Today Arwen has been to a show again and.... as last time she this time became German Youth champion, Baden-Württemberg jugend sieger 2007 and BEST OF BREED!!! We are all so proud, congratulations again! Now she has two more shows to go and then winterholidays... Amsterdam next...

27 OCTOBER

It feels like a dream, but the good thing is that it is real. Today Arwen participated in a show in Hannover and...... She became BOB!!! once again. I don't know what to say? I can just wish and thank Oliver and Kerstin the best for all they are doing for Arwen and always showing her in topshape. You are GREAT!!! Here some new pictures of Arwen.

Here she doesn't know what to come in her future, Arwen 6,5 w

12 OCTOBER

ONCE AGAIN!!! Arwen became today jugend Bundessieger but not only that, she also became BOB!! This is incredible for a small breeder like me but at least I will have something to remember in the future. CONGRATULATIONS again and hopefully I will get some of Olivers pictures as soon as they have possibilities to take some. Until then...

24 SEPTEMBER

SHE MADE IT! This weekend Arwen participated in IDC in Italy. The chances for a placement seemed quite small with a tough judge as Pezzano and 54! females in Arwens class most of them were also cropped. Arwen came into the ring as the last female in the class, and I must say that she has herited her mothers will and belief that she is the best. Arwen was one of the four who was picked out for the finals on sunday. Just that! To be top four is not bad.

It was hard to wait for the phonecall from Kerstin and Oliver, but finally a crying Kerstin phoned and said that Arwen became IDC-Jsg 2007!!! For me as an unknown small breeder with one litter and to get a dog like Arwen in this litter, I can just say WOW! Just sad that I couldn't be there myself. When I get pictures and results I will write more. Now I'm going to share this joy with Kerstin and Oliver and I want to say THANK YOU for your work with Arwen. Until next...

Beautiful already as a puppy, Zemic's Arwen

2 SEPTEMBER

This weekend has been quite nice. Yesterday our Deel River was running at the racetrack for the first time after her injury. This was an inofficial race but still it showed a bit how to continue the training. Next weekend she will go for a second race like this one.

Also Emma and our pony Tuffi went to a trotting competition. They made it very well and ended up as second out of 13 ponies. Congratulations to this result!

Today, once again I can CONGRATULATE Kerstin and Oliver for showing Arwen in such superb condition. In Luxembourg today Arwen became V1 and Luxembourg youth Champion!! Thank you again for all your effort!

22 AUGUST

I just want to start by saying CONGRATULATIONS! to Kerstin and Oliver Wollny but also to Zemic's Arwen who became best female and BOS at 14 months of age at the Danish Dobermannclub show last weekend (19/8). Thank you Kerstin and Oliver for what you are doing with Arwen. I think her next show will be in IDC in Italy.

Since last time we have found a new horse. A two year old trotter named Incense Face. Her father is one of the topstallions in USA: Muscles Yankee who is father to a lot of toptrotters, as for example Mr Muscleman and Tom Ridge the fastest trotter in our time. Tosee her you can visit our horsesite. The adress is below under 21 July.

Next week my school starts again but this will be my last term...

21 JULY

Vacation time, with three children at home and all fighting to get the computer then it is difficult for me to do something crative as updates. In the evening I'm too tired but now I will try to write something.

Focus for the moment is on our horses, trotting with the pony, and the big trotter who is ill for the moment, and then one foal and my Friesian that takes time but it's so fun and relaxing to work with the horses. It is really a good break to the dogs. If you want to se some of our horses you can check our website for the horses unfortunately it isn't in English (yet) but you can look at the pictures. The adress is: www.lookhtrotting.se

The "puppies" are now one year old, the day after my last update. I'm glad to have a good contact with the owners and they use to send a mail or phone me once in a while and those who haven's done it recently I presume are doing great anyways. The males have grown and they seem to be around 72 cm all of them. The females seem to be about 66 cm and at least for me that's very good.

Arwen participated in DV Sieger and became fourth of 15 in her class and that is very good. If you want the results, click here.

I also had a visit from Vilja (Aleeze) yesterday. I haven't seen her since she left us as a puppy. She was really a happy dog and her owner Nils has really made a good job with her. I wish you the best of luck. Below some pictures of the dogs.

Today Zemic's Arwen participated in her first official show in Aachen. The judge Armin Hoppe liked her so much so she won the youth class, became best female and finally she became BOS. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

22 MAY

This time I will start with some very sad news. Yantas brother Yancco was put to sleep today. He has been ill for a long time but now suddenly he became so ill so there were no possibilities to save him. It is so sad when it is a dog you have known since he was a puppy. Rest in peace, Yancco (99.08.01-07.05.22).

Some more happy news then, the "puppies" are growing and doing well. I have got some new pictures of Arco and Tia. They are like their mother, happy and crazy and not especially afraid. Below also a picture of our foal Lookh Morning.

29 APRIL

Time for a short report again. We have had some wonderful days, just like summer, very warm and sunny. Now it is hardly six degrees outside and windy. Enough about weather. The "puppies" are doing well, but Boss had bad luck a few days ago. Another dog attacked him and he got bitten in the ear, round his throat and on some more places. I hope will recover and that he will even after this stay friendly against other dogs but this is a problem when it happens...

What more then? Hopefully our Billie will have her foal next month, the father is LOOK DE STAR and we are waiting a lot. We will also go for some races with our little pony Tuffi and hopefully some of the "puppies" will go for some shows when we find some interesting ones. Below some new pictures from Arwen and Gero. Some new of Alva and also my friends' male Aro. I want to thank Oliver for all wonderful pictures and to Kerstin for all the stories that makes me glad...

I will just write very shortly today, but I will put some more pictures here instead. Everything is alright with us and the spring seems to be here (hopefully). My "small" puppies are not so small any more, I think the males are about 71 - 72 cm, I'm not so sure about Athoz but I believe he is the same. IF you know someone who wants to have a wonderful companion and workingdog, I am looking for a new home to Aston. He is totally without problems and he is just happy. Tell me if you know someone.

Below you can see some pictures and among them you can see Arwen in action.

11 MARCH

Long time no see! Finally some updates. Nowadays I am at school a lot because I am doing my ten weeks practice and the days are full of other activities also, as horses, dogs, and children...

The "puppies" are now nine months and they seem to grow nicely all of them. Many of them also have a very strong character and because of that they nedd, rules, rules, and rules. It is not possible to let them act and behave as they want because then the owners will have problems later on. I am glad that I have a good relation to the owners and then let me know about the dogs by, email or by phone so I must thank them for keeping in touch with me.

I hope that some of them will go for some shows and later on do some working with them because they are real workingdogs and needs to work. Two days ago I got some new pictures of Arwen and Gero. She looks really promising so it will be interesting to follow her too. Now they have got some help from no less than Elke Nowakowski. She became German Champion 2005 and IDC - Vice Worldchampion 2006 in IPO. I wish I had such a help here in Sweden too... So, below some pictures.

3 FEBRUARY

Now the scholl has started again and unfortunately my time for updates will increase. At least there will be some sentences today and then we'll se...

First I have to send a lot of congratulations to Yantas brother in France, YORK VAN HET WANTISHOF who on his last show received CAC, CACIB, BOB, BIG-3 and he became by that International showchampion!!! They are really still going strong at the age of 7,5 years. Also with Yanta, I don't think anyone could guess her age if they saw her.

Other news then, nothing special actually. The car is hopefully repaired in the end of next week and back for me to use again. I have missed it a lot. What more then? Aston went home to his owners again last wednesday after two moths here. He is really a very easy dog to keep if he just can learn to keep his nose from all the socks. Hopefully he will learn that too.

Most of our sparetime we actually spend in the stable. I have to help the children with Tuffi, our Shetlandspony. She is just wonderful but still, despite her size, she is a horse and horses learn very quickly when they can do something unwanted. Tuffi is not that type of horse and maybe that's why I help my children som much with her so she still will continue to behave well. Then she hopefully will start in some races this year so she needs her training. In the stable there is one more little pony named Mathilda. She is one of the fastest here in Sweden so she will hopefully be a good "sparringpartner" to Tuffi. Below some pictures again.

14 JANUARY

I got a phonecall this evening from Oliver and Kerstin. They were on the way home from a show where Gero participated. The results: GERO VOM KLINGBACH became German and International showchampion!!!! Many congratulations from us in Sweden.

Today we have full snowstorm. I'm glad we are in our house instead of outside. Last friday when we went from the stable we got involved in a car accident. The car we met had lost control of his car and ended in our car. Still I'm glad we could leave the accident without any injuries amd just a damaged car.

Below some pictures taken today and this weekend. It is a mix of different pictures as dogs, horses and our car.

The snow is here, at least for today. Aston loves the snow and wants to be out all the time. His best friend seems to be Yanta. She is really playing well with him and can be out for hours in the garden. She is really like a puppy despite her age. It is so fun to see because she has never been so excited about playing with other dogs earlier but now... She is worse than Kena.

Aston will be here one more week then he will go back to his owners, we'll se if he recognizes them at all. Maybe he will cry for us, who knows... Anyways, below you can see Aston with Kena. It's no use to take standing pictures of him because he needs to grow more in body. He really needs more time but he is growing every day so...

8 JANUARY

I really don't know where our Christmas holidays disappeared. Tomorrow it is time for the girls to go to school again. We have spent most of our time together with the horses. I have helped Emma and Hannah with Tuffi. Now we have all the horses collected on one place. I have moved Marco to the same stable and it feels very good with also him there.

Aston has started to understand a liitle bit about my rules here. But he is stubborn as his mother and the others in the litter. They are so crazy about food and I must admit that I never ever have met so crazy dogs when it is question about food. Still I use to think that now there are 9 puppybuyers that understand how I have it with Kena. Still I'm glad she is not stubborn in training.

Below a new picture of Arwen. They all seem to have very nice angulations especially the hind angulations. Or maybe it is not acceptable with that because someone in Germany compared these type of angulations with the backlegs of a frog???! At least what I have read in the standard a Dobermann should be well angulated or have I missed something? The litter is very similar in type and expression and I feel excited to see how they will develop in the future.

I just want to say that our horse site is almost ready. Unfortunately the site is on Swedish (for the moment) but if you want check at the pictures at least.

2 JANUARY

the two last months were terrible without updates on my site. Time is just running away. I have heard from someone that when you get older time is just going faster and faster and I must admit that it seems to be true. I don't know where it disappears, it wasn't like this in younger age.

The puppies are growing a lot for the moment. They are puppies in mind but alsmost fully grown in body. The males have more long bones for the moment and seem to need to develop more in brisket. The females are growning more slowly and look nice. For the moment Aston lives by us. His owners are visiting relatives in Australia and when it is question of a long trip far away lasting about two months then it is better he lives here than in a pension. He is also growing a lot but he is later in development because of his operation caused by a swallen sock. The males are around 68-70 cm except Azlan, he is for the moment 71,5 cm. The females seem to be around 64-65 cm for the moment.

Athina in Norway, became a little hero yesterday. She found her dogfriend who was afraid of fireworks and ran away. Tia tracked her and they found her on a place where they never would have looked themselves. I want to thank all my buyers for all nice phonecalls and mails during this time and I want to wish them all a very nice 2007 and hopefully they will enjoy their dogs also when they grow more and need more from the owners.

Below some pictures of puppies in worst age, and some new familymembers that have moved here in the end of last year. Until next time...

5 NOVEMBER

Hello again, now I have a few minutes toget you some news from us. The winter came suddenly again. We got about 25 cm of very heavy snow a few days ago and for example our appletree got split in two parts. Now the weather is sunny and I hope the snow will disappear again because I don't like snow at all.

The puppies are growing a lot especially the "boys". All the puppies still love to eat A LOT! Aston swallowed a sock and he had to be operated but now he is almost "back in business again. Vilja (Aleeze) ate a needle, not good, so they had to give her a lot of asparagus and she just loved it. Fortunately the needle came out the natural way and will now be a memory on the wall.

Athina in Norway participated in her first show yesterday. Strange place she thought but still behaved so well that she became BOB puppy. Because this was the first time for the owners to be on a show they took the green and white rosette and went home. When they came home and read the critics they noticed the mistake and saw that Athina became BOB and not BOS as the rosette showed so thereby they didn't participate in the BIS finals. No problems there are more shows in the future...

Last weekend a new horse moved to us. She is five years old and her name is Deel River. She will be a horse for us to learn how to train. She is in full condition so will now participate in a couple of trotting courses so hopefully she will manage well. A picture of her will come later but also the horses will soon have an own website.

Below some pictures of the puppies.

I just want to put a link to where you can se how the nice calendar looks like. I just have a few to sell so contact me or Oliver and Kerstin. There are really beautiful pictures in it that shows how wonderful our breed. Click HERE.

14 OCTOBER

Today Zemic's Arco participated in his first show. He became BOB puppy and finally he became BIS-2 of more than 20 puppies. Congratulations to the owners Maria and Nicklas. Next to go to show will be Zemic's Athina in Norway. Her show will be in the beginning of November...

8 OCTOBER

Long time no see. As usual it is tough to study English. I remember last year when I hardly spoke to anyone outside my family because of lack of time and when I didn't study I was too tired to pick up the phone and talk to some of my friends. Sorry but true. It will be so this term too...

All the puppies are growing. They seem to have some things in common, especially the food. They really love food and would almost do anything to get more. Most of the puppies also seems to be full of selfconfidence and they are hardly scared of anything. I hope the owners can take care of that. It will be very interesting to follow them and see how they become.

Something about the horses also. They are alright and our Billie and Tussilago got company last week. We bought Baja Hall (called Maja) to us because earlier she had a lot of more owners but now she is just ours, and that feels very good. I will when I get more time present all the horses on one place on my site. Below some pictures taken today on the horses. As you can see on the pictures some of them love mud.

11 SEPTEMBER

This weekend was very hectic. On Saturday three of the puppies came for a visit. It's difficult to get them all here because most of them live far away. Still it was very nice to see these three. They were very social and they seemed to have a lot of courage and temperament also. The whole litter loves food and are like pupies are, full of energy.

As you maybe all know already Arwen received VV in babyclass and a very good critic. Gero became V4 in workingclass and that's also good because today he seems to be one of a few that has a size that stays within the limit mentioned in the standard of the breed.

If you want to see more pictures of Gero and Arwen, visit Dobermannreview and IDC but also Eurodobermann. Below some new pics of the puppies (not easy to get perfect pictures of three months old puppies) and also of Gero. Ther are more to come but for the moment there is so much in school so, be patient...

2 SEPTEMBER

Today, Arwen has participated in her first show, and she started with IDC in Hungary. She behaved very well in the babyclass consisting 39 puppies. There were two uncropped puppies in the class and Arwen was also the youngest. Still she wasn't among the last in placement. I will return when I know more and also have the critics. Tomorrow it is time for Gero... Below Arnie.

17 AUGUST

Now all the puppies are gone. Athina left us for her new family in Norway last weekend. It feels that all the puppies have got good families to live in. Most of them have experience of the breed since earlier and that's good because then it is easier to understand the puppies. I have got reports from all of the owners and they all seems to use what I think is very important: common sence! Let the puppy be a puppy and let it investigate the world when it wants itself. Thank you again for all funny reports and pictures, continue with that. Below some pics from some of the puppies in their new homes.

This weekend was really among the toughest in my life. My "babies" moved to their new owners. Still I'm very glad because the puppies are in an age that they need more than just to play with each others. I have talked to the owners after they have returned home and all puppies have behaved in an excellent way.

Athina is still with us but her new owners will bring her on Saturday so after that it is very empty in the house. I want to wish all the owners the best of luck in the future with the puppies. Thank you Oliver and Kerstin for a wonderful weekend with your visit here and I'm waiting for a lot of pictures and stories of what the puppies are doing.

2 AUGUST

Yesterday the puppies went to the vet for vaccination and microchip. They all behaved very well. They were happy and played around and when they gor tired they fell asleep. No one cried and it was very nice to see their behaviour. Tomorrow they will have the eyes checked.

Yesterday it was Yantas birthday. She became 7 years old. I don't know where the time disappears, timebandits maybe? Congratulations to all her brothers and sisters!

This weekend it's time for the puppies to leave us and go to their new homes. It's mixed feelings inside me. It will be nice for them to get new owners (I hope) but still after all the hours you spend on them it will be very empty.

Below a few pics from some of the puppies.

What type of food do they have here? It's quite tasteless

This is my job, just to be adorable.

28 JULY

Yesterday finally, we got some rain and thunder. The weather before was nice but it was necessary with some rain and now the air is so fresh again. We had visitors and we made some barbecue and had a lot of fun despite the weather.

Also I had the possibility to get some more standing pictures of the puppies, see the PUPPIES. Thank you Peder and Leena for the help to get the puppies stand and nice that you could come to visit us also, Ingela and Kim.

About our horses then, Tussilago Hornline will hopefully be in foal with Gigant Neo and Broadway Billie is in foal with Look de Star in France. We'll se when she will come home again. Baja Hall has a long vacation and we will hope she will return on the racetrack later on this year.

26 JULY

Now the puppies are 6,5 weeks old and the time is just passing by. I'm glad for the weather because they are out all day long and loves it. They play, eat and meet a lot of people. Then they helped me to put up my exhibitiontent so they had something for rain, sun and all types of weather.

Below some pictures from walking, sleeping etc.

I will just show some new pictures again on the puppies. They are growing and playing. Just watch them.

Time for some fun.

This is mine, just mine!!!

Time to go...

Oh no, don't even try to...

Just me, Aston.

What's up brother?

So nice with a rest.

14 JULY

I have some problems to get a puppyvideo on this site, but if you want to see it, go to the swedish nyheter and click on the word video.

13 JULY

The time is really flying away. On sunday the puppies will be five weeks and soon they will move to their new owners and leave us. Today I have together with Peder and Leena tried to take some so called standing pictures. If you are interested you can see them under PUPPIES. Below some other pictures.

Got you!

Strange food on this place...

8 JULY

We still have very warm outside but I prefer that. I'm not a fan of winter and snow. This week has been a busy week. The puppies are growing and growing so we have made the "puppygarden" ready outside and I have made their place inside much, much bigger so they can play around. From an earlier silent time they have started to wake up and gets more and more like Formula 1 cars. There is a brown boy who really thinks he's the king among his brothers and sisters. It will be very interesting to see how they will develop. Below some new pics.

2 JULY

Today we don't do anything special. In the shadow we have +28 degrees and it feels as if there would be some thunder coming later on. Yesterday we had a lot of nice visitors here. Peder and Leena to visit us and see the puppies then a very nice couple interested in a male also came by. I think everyone had a nice time, even Yancco slept to 10 o'clock this morning which have never happened before. With three camers we tried to get any sort of reasonable pictures but it isn't easy yet. Below some of the pictures. There are more to come...

28 JUNE

Two days of rain, so boring. I'm glad I have the puppies that make me happy when I see how the grow. I just wanted to add some other pictures of the puppies.

25 JUNE

First, some sad news. Yesterday our foal was in so bad health so we had to tell the veterinarian to put him to sleep. He had got a bacterium resistant to antibiotics so there was nothing more to do. Today we brought the lonely mother from the hospital. Hopefully everything will be OK for next spring and we will have 2 foals with both of the mares.

The puppies are growing and growing. From a life as torpedo seals they have now eyes and are like ants when Kena comes to give them food. They have started to discover each others and some of them have tried to play a bit. Below pictures of today. First two pics of females and the last a brown boy.

19 JUNE

Everything is now all right. The puppies are growing and growing. From the beginning I thought they were quite tiny until I realized that my scale was not showing the right weights. So now I have a descent scale and my tiny puppies are not as tiny as I thought. All nine weighs more than 800 grams so that feels totally OK. Now we wait for the eyes to open. They are already very active despite their youth.

Our foal, named First Lookh, has been ill. We had to drive him to an animal hospital for care at night between friday and saturday. Today they found what was the problem of him. They have to operate the umbilical cord because there is a hole in the urinary and because of that he gets urine in his stomach. Tomorrow he will be operated and hopefully becomes healthy again.

Below a few pics of the puppies from yesterday.

14 JUNE

This morning our mare Tussilago Hornline got her first foal. A small nice stallion. His father San Pellegrino was a successful trotter in USA before he cames to Sweden. So now I will mix puppy and foal reports but I hope you don't mind.

Kena seems to enjoy her puppies (I hope). She is very relaxed with them and really takes care of them. Below some pics of our new foal and a pic of the "bulldozerboy" with his sister.

Pretty, isn't he?

13 JUNE

We got 9 puppies. 5 males and 4 females, 2 brown males and 1 brown female the rest are black. It is interesting to see how they really search for food. They are like torpedo seals. Kena is a really good mother and knows how to take care of her babies. Below some pics from today.

11 JUNE

They are here now, at least most of them. Below a bad pic of some of them. I return when I know how many there will be....

29 MAY

Hello! Now I am back on track again. We have been to Rhodos in Greece for a just wonderful week. Last time I was there was 19 years ago and this time we stayed at the same hotel as then, fun. The children enjoyed it a lot with a lot of bathing and playing. I think it also helped them to recover faster than if we had stayed at home in rainy Sweden. We also had a lot of good food and a lot of nice friends on the same trip (about 80).

Now we just have to prepare and wait for the big moment. We also wait for Tussilagos first foal. The mares are a bit late because of the long and cold spring so maybe, we will have a foal and puppies during the same weekend...

Below, some pics from our vacation and a pic of the becoming mother Kena in "beautiful showcondition". Soon back...

Kena a bit tired...

Also a pot plant in Sweden but a bush in Rhodos.

18 MAY

Hello again. We are getting better and better but the girls still have fever. It's almost driving me crazy, everything at the same time. Not just that, we are going for our first vacation to a warm sunny place together and it will start with illness. Hopefully they get healthy in the the sun and warm weather something we really don't have here. It is grey and about seven degrees outside.

When we come back it will be a lot to do. Our mare Tussilago is expecting a foal just a few days before Kena will have her puppies and our Billie in France seems to be pregnant too so we can expect her to come home any day also. We have also decided for next partner to Tussilago. It will be this years winner of Prix D'Amérique, Gigant Neo. Of course he has won a lot of other races also because on his account he has more than 20 millions and to earn this amount he must compete on top because there is the money.

I return after our holliday with more news and until then a pic of Kena and a pic of Gigant Neo.

12 MAY

Yesterday we made this "terrible" ultrasound. Result? Kena expects puppies!!!! Wow, it is twelve years since last litter so it seems to be time for one. The puppies will be born around 10-12 june. I return when my fever and this cough has disappeared. Below a pic of the becoming mother with a favourite toy.

30 APRIL

Last day in April and we still have some snow outside. I could never had imagined that the spring was so far away this year. Though it seems to have arrived at least for today. It is three weeks since we was in Germany and we wait and wait. I will do an ultrasound when it is time for it but I'm a bit nervous for it. After three negative ultrasounds with Yanta I'm too afraid to expect some puppies. Of course there are puppies, why not? As much as Kena liked Gero there must be puppies.

Kena is the same but there is one difference. She steals more food than ever. She looks for food both high and low. The memory is very short at the moment, I say NO! without result. Yesterday I grabbed her with the head in the dustbin. "Sorry, sorry" she seamed to think BUT when I turned the back she tried again... She loves all kinds of food no matter what it can be.

Well, below two recently taken pictures. The first is from today with Yanta enjoying the sun and the second is Kena taken by Geros owner Oliver.

13 APRIL

Now we're back from our journey to Germany. Sad the time goes too fast when you have fun. I think Kena fell in love with Gero and she was mated 10-11 april without problems so now it is just to wait. Thank you Kerstin and Oliver for letting me use Gero on Kena. What a male! He has a supercharacter and so social. According to weird rumours he was supposed to be dead BUT he was alive and kicking. To show that he went to a show on Sunday the 9 April and became BOB and upon that he also received his VDH championtitle yesterday. Congratulations!

30 MARCH

How fun is it with two days of snowing after a wonderful sunny weekend when almost all the snow disappeared? Not at all. It just makes me angry but what will it help. I think it's better to think as they sang in the Monty Python movie "Life of Brian": "Always look on the bright side of life". Yes, well...

Now both Yanta and Kena is on heat. Yanta since Saturday and Kena since Tuesday. Suddenly we got a lot of things to plan, when to go, where to live etc. This is not the only thing to plan because we just got an mail that told us to bring our mare Broadway Billie to another place on Sunday where she will be picked up for her travel to France and the chosen stallion Look de Star.

So who will I use for Kena? They who are frequently on internet probably knows it already. I have followed him for some time (about 1,5 years) and I like him of course. Titles? Working? Look below. Name? Below the photo with a link to his site.

ZTP V1A, VPG 1, AdPr., PHTVL/PHPV und Katarakt frei, HD B,

5 MARCH

Snow, snow wherever you look. It has been snowing during six days and it is really frustrating. When you have shoveled all the snow away it is just to start all over again. This should have been in December not in March. This was a week I had plans to do a lot of things but no. I have been ill and what more is what happened last weekend. The phone rang in the middle of the night and because Lennart wasn't at home I had to answer. It was the head of the fire-brigade and he wanted us to rescue the animals in the petstore because of a fire in the garage under the whole building. I had to wake Lennart up in the hotel 450 km from here and he had to leave immediately.

The animals got saved but the smoke have made a lot of damage in the store. Luckily they managed to clean up the store so they could open the store partly. Hopefully everything can be opened next week but to clean up the basement will take many weeks.

The dark colour is what the smoke did. It should be white as in the middle.

Something more positive though is that after a few years of training Emma finally got her license so now she is a driver for ponytrotting. They had a test where the maximum score was 28,5 and Emma had 28 then they had a trottingrace where they had to show that they managed different situations during a race.

Below you can se some people and a dog that loves snow more than I.

Our garden, after this picture the ball has disappeared in all the snow.

21 FEBRUARY

One more week has passed. I am in "my" school again for a few days of practice. Today I have participated in some English lessons and tomorrow I have promised to take a french lesson, oboy...

A few days ago I was thinking about how children know so much about technical things. As for example Christopher, even if he just reached three years of age he knows how to handle my computer. He knows exactly where to find what he looks for and he knows how to change programs etc totally without my help.

For the moment it is quiet around the dogs, vacation. I will later on present my choice for Kena on my site. Until then here are a pic of Christopher from his first competition, a new pic of Broadway Billie, A pic of the stallion we have chosen to her Look de Star who is situated in France and finally a pic of Emma and her training companion in the trotting school, Hampus is his name.

14 FEBRUARY

11 FEBRUARY

I just wanted to put a couple of photos on the chosen male. A nice "guy" that always has a super behaviour both in private, working ground and shows. Closer presentation later on.

9 FEBRUARY

Today, finally I went to check the eyes of Kena. Nowadays things like this makes you more worried than before but I really do not know why. The result then? The vet said everything looked superb in Kenas eyes so now Kena has no signs at all of PHTVL/PHPV, PRA, RD or Kataract. Nice, now I can continue to next step, to find a male she hopefully likes...

We have got a lot of snow during these last few days. The children, dogs and the horses loves it BUT not me, I want to have spring now!!! Green grass, nice weather, door open, mosquitos, wasps and so on. I must say I prefer all these small creatures instead of all this snow.

Now I have been introduced to "my" school. All the teachers were very friendly and actually the pupils were very nice too. Still it is a quite complicated age to be between 15 - 18 years because so much happens in the mind and in the body during this time. Though I look very much forward to go to this school also the next time and the next. Below you can see a picture of what season I like best.

5 FEBRUARY

Winter and cold again, 12 degrees below zero. Summer, summer where are thou? This starts to be boring I want to have summer now! The dogs cannot be out for too long and it is not fun to sit in a cold saddle either. Last week I saw two swans flying around. Really too early they will have problems when it became cold like this.

I am a bit nervous today. Reason? I will start my practice in school tomorrow. I will be in a school here in Borlänge and it will be "my" school for rest of my time in highschool.

Isn't it incredible this with internet. I believe I find a new site with dobermann every day. Just to sit at home and hopefully find what you are looking for as showresults, males, puppies etc. If it wasn't for internet I would not have found Kena. It is difficult to find something when you have been "spoilt" by some very good dogs from Jaap and from his bloodlines as Wallis v h Wantij and her son Jagger-Jiawan des Hautes Crêtes, Yanta v h Wantishof and of course all the dogs from him I have met in his house.

If the kennelname did not say something different I could have believed that Kena was a dog from Jaap. Her character reminds a lot of his dogs, very stable and strong and excellent workingdogs. Kena is both strong and kind, she is also very tough in some situations but also gentle, she is also wonderful in working. Everything what I wish and look for as a true dobermann. Below a pic of some of her relatives in kennel de Grande Vinko.

1 FEBRUARY

Today I went to vaccinate Kena and at the same time I also visited "our" horse Baja Hall. She is on recreation close to my vet and it was perfect to go there to see her. She will be there for a while because she did not like to be in a large place with a lot of horses. I like her very much because she has a very strong personality. She reminds a bit of Kena, she believes the world is made for her and then everyone has to follow her rules. Baja Hall is always nice and never aggressive or stupid BUT she has a very strong will. Below two pics of her from today.

Thank you Jaap, every time when I have spoke with you on phone I am very glad. Thank you for making me happy!

29 JANUARY

Today we have had a weather like in March - April. Quite warm and a feeling of springtime. Unfortunately it is too early for us to have spring but it will come, sooner or later (I hope sooner). I have started my studies again. This time in Swedish, how simple it is but still my brain wants to translate everything into English, very crazy...

We haven't started up any training yet for different reasons but I hope we will later on. Today the dogs have played with my mothers Pinscher. Yanta likes him very much because he is a very good size she thinks. Kena likes him too but today she was a bit tough to him, she needs larger dogs to play with. Dogs used to tough "chicks". Below some pics from today on Kena and when she's playing.

Also a new pic of Kena on her page.

14 JANUARY

Here I have some happy news also. Today I have visited a puppy show to see some friends but most of all their puppies from their own breed. Very happy and nice puppies and the brown female owned by themselves became BOB on her first show. Her name is Dobalistic's Banditaa and her father is Korad, Ali van het Wantishof and he is a son of Jivago. Below a picture of Banditaa from today:

11 JANUARY

THE BEST IS NOT WITH US ANY MORE. The 9/1 I got a message from Jaap that Jivago was put to sleep because of illness. I am glad I have met this wonderful dog and I wish more people would have done it. I am glad he has given so much of himself to his progeny so there still are possibilities to get something in our breed also in the future. What a dog, what a character. Thank you Jivago I will never forget you and thank you Jaap for giving us this opportunity to get such excellent dogs in our breed...

9 JANUARY

I just moved some results as Kenas MH and korung from the news 2004 to her own presentation so they don't disappear in the archive.

6 JANUARY

Here, just a few new pics from today on two of our horsefriends, Tussilago Hornline and Broadway Billie.

5 JANUARY

I just want to tell there are other photos in the gallery. At a beginning photos 2 and 3. There are more to come...

2 JANUARY

Welcome back to year 2006. We have been to a place named Grövelsjön situated about 300 km from us in direction Northwest close to the Norwegian border. It was quite cold and a lot of snow but we had a lot of fun.

I went out skiing with Kena and she was just marvellous. She is a true Dobermann with a heart of gold. I remember when she came, full of scars and bitemarks. She could have been aggressive and mean but no, she is so friendly. Still, she is hard (especially when it is a question of stealing food), she is excellent in working because she loves it and is easy to learn. She would never give up in any occations and I have never seen her afraid of anything. I also think she would give her life if it would be necessary. To summarize, a complete Dobermann... This is how I know her so for me it is facts.

Below a pic from Grövelsjön.

2005

21 DECEMBER

Soon we have christmas here. I just want to wish everyone: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW 2006! See you next year...

12 NOVEMBER

It was Kena's third birthday yesterday. Congratulations!

Long time no see. My whole world is just English studies and it really takes a lot of time and effort. This is the final week with the tuffest exam as the last thing we will do. Then when I had a bit of time what happened? My computer did quit his job. Fortunately a friend succeeded to rescue most of my photos and some other important things. Now we have a new computer and I hope it will be a good companion for me.

What else then? Jaap had his 25 years anniversary as breeder in mid of October with some activities in the end of that month, just so sad I couldn't participate. Then it is nice that Kena's breeder still continues with a lot of success in the showring where ever they go. They also have the first dobermanns in Ukraine with ZTP.

Actually I have started to spend more time with horses also. Our family have got three new "horsemates". Firstly, Marco B, a lovely Friesian. Friesian horses are from Holland and are wonderful riding and driving horses with a super character. Then Lennart got more interested so he introduced a mare called Tussilago Hornline to our family. She will hopefully be in foal with a stallion from USA named San Pellegrino and if there will be a foal , it will be born in june 2006. Finally we have the mare Broadway Billie whose owner did not want her any more. When I have more time I will introduce them in more details. Below at least a couple of pictures.

2 OCTOBER

Once again we went to a show with Kena. This time my friend Peder was going to show her. She behaved very well in the ring and was V1 in open class with CK (certificate quality, a bit like CACr) and ended as fourth best female.

Thank you Peder for your excellent help and that you sacrificed one morning to show Kena.

1 OCTOBER

Today Kena and I went to our second show for this year. It was cold and rainy but we managed to do a good result anyway. Kena was V1 in open class females with CK (certificate quality, a bit like CACr). She ended also as BOB.

27 SEPTEMBER

Baja Hall made her second race and this time she won. Nice, now we will see when she will go for next race.

13 SEPTEMBER

"Our" Baja Hall started in her first race. She had unfortunatelly to much to look on so she ended as number five. Better luck next time...

7 SEPTEMBER

Now it was really a long time since I wrote anything on my page. Maybe it is because of the wonderful summer and a lot of lazy days. Now I'm studying English again so we will see if my written English will be better.

We haven't done so much actually and the dogs have had vacation also. Yanta and her littermates became six years the first of August. It's crazy how fast the time is going. Yanta has just happy days. She is just doing what she wants to do, like sleeping in the sofa, stealing food and go out for walks. Now it is Kenas turn to get the training but I don't think she's sad for that because she really loves it.

Last weekend I made the exterior part of the Swedish korung with her and the judge said she was gorgeous, so now Kena has her first title, KORAD (angekört). We will wait with the working until next year but i'm not worried about that at all because she's extremely easy to learn and a workaholic. We have made the korung and the description of her mentality (MH) and that is for me the most important. There will be some shows later on this year but I'm not worried, she will be a Champion. If you need something to make you glad, klick here: HAPPY!

Below here you can see a pic of Kena from this summer.

1 JULY

I just want to show a few pics taken this week. First Yantas brother Yancco, second the "Aussie" Lizzie owned by Tina Thrysén and finally Kena out swimming in a lake. Enjoy yourselves and there are more to come later on...

23 JUNE

Long time no see. When the schoolterm finished, all my energy disappeared too. Now also the real summer finally came to us so I just feel very lazy. I have not done so much just been out walking with the dogs but this evening we shall train some obedience.

The good with Kena is that she really does not care about weather or anything else, she loves to work and she always tries to do her best. I hope we can go for some workingcompetitions in August. With shows? Yes, we will do that to but actually shows are not interesting before she will be in workingclass and compete about the CACs.

Now we will have some vacation and I just want to wish you all A VERY NICE AND WARM SUMMER!

30 MAY

Hello again, now we have made the swedish MH. It is necessary to have for working and also if you shall registrate a litter in the Kennelclub to get a pedigree on the puppies. Well Kena behaved very well again and the judge was impressed over the strong character she showed. I will try to translate her result but it will take some time. I can offer you an English explanation though to keep in mind when you read Kenas or someone elses MH. Here it comes:

The main test units

Within each test unit there are 2-3 partial tests.

1. Contact with a stranger. Test leader takes the dog on the leash and goes away from the handler/owner, executes physical examination, mouth and teeth inspection. Thus, what is the dog's reaction to a stranger? Kena was more than positive to other people.

2. Willingness to play. Test leader plays with a big white cloth, throws it to the handler (owner), invites the dog to play with the cloth, tugs the cloth, etc. Kena started to play immediatelly and grabbed the cloth with full mouth.

3. Chasing. A big white cloth is drawn in a zigzag pattern at a distance of 24 feet (supposedly a rabbit or other prey). The dog is let loose and has to run and attack the object, then is called back to the handler. The first try Kena didn't see the cloth but ths second time she ran away and grabbed the cloth.

4. Ability to relax. Handler and dog stand still for three minutes. What does the dog do during the dull interval? Kena started to bark because one from the public went away. after that she relaxed.

5. Ability to collaborate with a stranger. A "witch" (clad in black) suddenly comes out of the woods at a distance of approximately 120 feet. She kneels, stands up, and kneels again, waving a big cloth, luring the dog to come to her. Kena started very quickly towards the witch but she thought the witch was too slow in the invitation to play so she came back to me.

6. Reaction to the sudden appearance of a large object. A blue overall (XL) is rigged with ropes and suddenly appears when the handler and the dog are strolling along a path. Kena just stopped, investigated the overall and done, no fears.

7. Reaction to sounds. Hidden in the bushes, a chain is pulled over a corrugated iron-plate, creating a loud rattling sound. Kena stopped immediatelly, went towards the sound and was standing on the iron-plate.

8. Reaction to an approaching threat. Ghosts. Two volunteers dressed in white sheets, with white plastic buckets on their heads and large black painted eyes, nose and mouth, move stereotypically forward three feet at the time. Wind should be away from the dog so that it cannot smell the human scent from the two ghosts.
The "ghosts" approach until they are ten feet away and then turn their backs to the dog. The handler is then allowed to call the dog's name, to go up to the ghost and start talking to it and unmasks it. He can then do the same with the other ghost. Kena acted towards and controlled the ghosts whole the time, then she went towards the ghosts without problems, no fears.

9. Willingness to play. Has the dog’s willingness to play during units 1 to 7 faded or is he still alert? [Unit two is repeated]. Kena started as quickly as in the beginning of the test, very alert.

10. During the test, shots from a 9 mm pistol are fired. The shooter is about 100 feet away from the dog and is hidden in the woods. Ten seconds between each shot. Reaction? No reactions.

Playing tug the cloth. Dog is on a leash. Handler is passive. Two more shots are fired, but at a shorter distance. Ten seconds between each shot.
No reactions.

21 MAY

So, time for some news again. Last weekend we should have been on the specialshow but Christopher got ill so we stayed at home. With the news I start with news about "our" horse Baja Hall. She has done the qualification race and is now allowed to participate in real races when the trainer thinks she's ready for it.

Today I had decided to go to a show with Kena but late yesterday evening I got a phonecall if I wanted to participate in the mentaltest for the swedish korung, of course I said and this morning at 6.15 I picked up my friend Jeanette and went to Gävle 120 km from Borlänge. This time in the morning I really think about what I'm doing instead of staying in bed.

We started as number four and I was really nervous because the first dog, a nice Rottweiler made a very good result and ended at +209 points out of +300. In a Swedish korung there are no biting but they still check how the dog is towards people, fightingspirit, sharpness, nerves etc. There is a scale from +3 to -3 where +3 is best Then the different parts have different coefficients that shall be multiplicated with the numbers mentioned in each part. The higher coefficients the more important is the part. Here below I will try to translate the result from Kena.

1. approachability: +3 friendly (coeff: 15)

2. fighting spirit (objects): +1 very high (coeff: 8)

3. fighting spirit (social): +3 middle (coeff: 6)

4. Temperament: +2 middle spirited (coeff: 10)

5. sharpness: +3 middle (coeff: 5)

6. defence: +3 middle (coeff: 5)

7. Nerves: +2 calm (coeff: 35)

8. Hardness: +3 middle (coeff: 8)

9. Courage: +2 high (coeff: 8 )

shooting OK, approved with +231 points of +300.

Thank you to very good judges and other people involved in making this test so successful.

Below a new pick on Baja Hall from last week.

6 MAY

We have visited "our" horse Baja Hall today. She has grown a lot since last time. She is still very nice and gentle but the groom said she behaved like a stallion. She likes to tease her other horse friends when they stand in the stable. Her training is going so well so on WEDNESDAY the 11/5 it is time for her qualifying race. If she will make a good time and with good behaviour she will be ready for the real races, interesting. More to come until then I have some new pics on her and her trainer, one of the best in Sweden all times, Stig H Johansson.

3 MAY

So, now we have been to our first show, Kena and I. Thank you Peder (the best handler you can find) for your help. When we trained before the show I thought she never would take a step in the ring, but she behaved well and got V2. The judge liked her very well but she could have been a little bit more slim.

This is what he said about her: "Female with nice lines, femine nice head, excellent underjaw, very good eyes, very good ears, excellent neck and topline, the croup could be a slightly better, very good angulations both in front and rear, excellent forechest, very good legs and feet, excellent movements, very nice in character, could though be more slim". I am satisfied with what he said so now we are training hard to our next show...

Below a new pic on Yanta.

25 APRIL

The sun is shining and everything feels quite great. We went tracking this weekend and I must say Kena learns very quickly. This was her second track and she just pulled me towards the forest to search for the track. She is really enjoying all types of training and she learns very quickly. Our neighbour went out twice skiing with Kena and now when she hears her voice she just screams like a crazy. By the way, she tracked very well. Yanta didn't track this time. I made her to search for different objects in the forest. She was really top and found all the objects within just a few minutes.

For the first time in almost two years I have received papers from a show. This time it will be with Kena and I feel a bit nervous. How will she behave? How will she manage towards the others? Many questions. This will be training for the specialshow the 15 of May when I will take them both.

Congratulations to Jaap ( v h Wantij) who got two dogs from his breed passing the korung. It was Voshonghoni for life and his brother Victor Vincent for the first time. Congratulations also to the owners who have trained successfully with their dogs. The results from the Korung you can see HERE.

Congratulations also to the breeders of Kena who had a very successful time in Greece with their dogs. They received 3 CACIBs out of 4 possible. Their female Shardonne - Sherau De Grande Vinko (click on her name) became International Champion.

Victor Vincent in action.

21APRIL

I just want to add some pics from Hannahs exam on level 2 in trottingschool. She got the best results together with the pony Wilma.

17APRIL

Finally it feels like spring is arrived. We have had some sunny days and the days are much longer already. The inspiration is back again.

Yesterday we went out tracking for the first time since October last year. Kena starts to understand what I want her to do this was just our second track together. That together with three kids running around us is the same as a good job from Kena.

Yanta was also tracking very well. Jeanett had to take her because Christopher was all soaking wet after running around on every wet spot he could find. From the beginning I sent the girls to look for the toy I had put in the track to Yanta but they were just running around like lost sheep in the trackso I decided to let Yanta try. She followed the track as a vacuumcleaner and passed Emma who was standing in the middle of the track. She continued and found her toy. This track was more than two hours old on a field with grass short as in the garden. She was really as good as a bloodhound.

I have started to put Kena into some shows. Also I will try to take Yanta out in a championclass. She really starts to be in a good shape now. I will try to do some biking next week IF I have some time between all the homework. Some newpics on Kena on her page, not so good but they are there. See you...

27 MARS

It is quiet an Easter day like this so I just wanted to present the horse I ride most in our stable. His name is Klaus and he is very nice to work with. Also you can see Emma and Lizette from a masquerade competition this Easter.

23 MARS

The time is just running away. There are so much homework so I have hardly noticed how the days are just passing by. All the writing almost makes me allergic to the computer, but still I have to write something so you know I'm here.

The last two days the weather has changed from beeing very cold to as today +12 degrees outside. It's lovely and you can see it on the dogs also how they enjoy the sun. The positive with the snow is that Kena has been out in the skiing tracks with our neighbour. She has been out two times and she has a future there our neighbour says, so now we have to train her a lot to the next season.

What more, we have continued with our indoor training. Our goal is to have the obedience so we can participate in some competitons maybe in June. Kena really loves to work. When we come to the training ground she just pulls me indoors, sits down in front of me and starts to bark as if she wants to say: Lets work! i have said it before and I say it again, she is a real working machine!

Well that is all for this time. If I do not have more time this week to write I wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER!

28 FEBRUARY

Monday. I have just finished some homework. I have to take a break before I continue with my other homework. For the moment it's a lot but it's just to continue.

We trained as usual this weekend. It feels good. Everyone is proceeding and it's nice to see. Kena really loves when we go to train indoors. This time I trained more than 50 minutes without breaks. She just wants to do more. Still she hasn't shown anything about beeing bored, it's the contrary. When she gets out from the car she pulls me (she's very strong) to the door and starts to bark on me. It's like she says "Hurry, open the door, I wan't to train!" She is a workingmachine...

About the horses then? I'm riding on Thursdays and it's really wonderful. To concentrate on making the horse understand what I mean it's just, I don't have any words for it. It's something to try.... Our Baja Hall is developing well, she's healthy and if she will be ready later on this spring, her first race isn't far away.

There's a new pic of Kena on her page...

22 FEBRUARY

Now I have a moment to write something. On Friday we have our first grammartest so it's just to take the grammar book and do some exercises when I have finished the news. My friends Peder and Leena, owners to Yancco v h Wantishof, were here helping us a bit with some tips when we trained. It was very nice to have them here for a whole day. I hope can do it again when the weather gets warmer.

The weather, yes, now we get the Christmas snow. It's snowing and snowing, it's very nice outside BUT not now. I want to have sunshine and warm so I can go out without a lot of clothes.

We still train once a week indoors. It's nice to do it and the dogs like it. Last weekend I felt very satisfied because everything seems to work out very well for all of us. Kena loves to work, she can work all day long if it's necessary. I could never imagine to get someone close to Wallis and Jagger in workingabilities but here she is. At home she can be very "stubborn" but never in working. She's always doing her best. I have started to plan for some shows with her this spring but I return with that. Below there's a new pic on Kena, not so good but still something. Maybe there are some other pics on Kena on her page too. By the way, click on the sentence below...

DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY!!!

2 FEBRUARY

Now it's really a long time ago since I wrote something. Normally the children sits by the computer playing something. When they don't I'm too tired. Of course most of my sparetime goes to make all my homework from school. For the moment it's grammar, litterature, vocabulary, didactics and planning for writing essays (2 at the moment). For they who not visit my news regularly I can tell I study English in Highschool. Tough days....

With the dogs then? Yes we train regularly once a week inside and for me they all are training well and they proceed all the time. I have also started to do some biting with Kena. She really enjoys it and she learns quickly. We have just started up the training but as I can see this is not new for her. Many thanks to our eminent helper, Peter Wikén, Skaybackens kennel.

Now with my lack of time I'm also back in the horsesaddle again. It was great! Though, my muscles weren't too happy in the beginning of the week but now I'm fit for fight again for the next lesson.

There will be some news now and then when I have time between all the homework and if something is happening. It will be time to bring Kena out for some shows later on this spring. I will let you know...

12 JANUARY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JIVAGO! He will be 10 years today.

10 JANUARY

Finally I got a chance to use my computer. I think all the children in the neighbourhood has been here playing games during the christmas vacation. Well, I will make a short summary of last weeks activities.

First we have made an ultrasound on Yanta. Everything was in black and white, kidneys and other "stuff" but no puppies. Made Yanta is a modern dog that wants to be free without beeing a mother to a lot of puppies. No, I'm just joking, of course I'm sad but it was harder the last time when I didn't see any future in the breed for me. Now I have Kena to struggle with and IF she seems to be suitable for breed we will try her. But still it would have been nice with a bunch of puppies out of Connor...

I would like to say thanks to my dearest friends Peder and Leena, Jaap and Ria, Janina and finally Nettan for all your support and nice words in my hard times, it helps me to come "back on track" again. Also thanks to my Lennart here at home always supporting me and to Renée for her help in Germany.

We have started to train indoors with the dogs again. I think they were happy to do something. Kena impresses me with her behaviour in new places. This was the first time indoors but she just looked at me and the eyes said: "Come on lets work".

We had an emergency case last night. Our friends from Alingsås was here in town visiting relatives. This time the trip ended with one night in hospital for the son. He fell with the snowboard and hurted his hand. They have a Dobermann called Zimone (Stroll's Zimone Zantina) and she needed to stay somewhere during the night and of course she could stay here.

We'll see later on how much time I get. I will start to study again next week. Two years of English (oh, boy!) is my future for the moment. But there will surely be time to update my site also. It's time to make up plans for Kena....

1 JANUARY

How it is, yesterday the summer was so far away and today it all looks much brighter. I must say I feel sorry for all the dogs that are afraid of all the fireworks on the new years evening. My friends female has accepted the sound better and better BUT a couple of days ago a "nice guy" made a firework explode just above their heads on an evening walk and everything was spoiled again. In our area it feels that there are more and more fireworks for every year. I'm so glad that my dogs doesn't care at all but I'm also afaraid to meet "nice guys" that like to scare animals and people when it's dark outside.

Today it's lovely outside except the ice that replaced all the snow we had. It's difficult to walk and Kena really makes me sweat when she runs around like a crazy and just loves it. Yanta is really more aristocratic and more a lady than Kena. Below a pic on Kena with the best toy in world, the "kong".

2004

27 December

Finally snow but also very cold outside today. Strange how dogs love the snow so much. They just get like the children, running around, jumping and playing. Especially Kena, she never give up. If I would allow it she could play for hours and hours both inside and outside so her I need to remind that inside the house I want to have quiet with all the carpets on the spots I have put them, but she has a very short memory. She just wants to...

Actually I just want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Also to us with the ultrasound on Yanta in the beginning of next year...

19 December

So, now she's presented, the brown Kena. She's born at the topkennel in Ukraina, de Grande Vinko. So far she hasn't shown fear for anything. She's interested in everything and loves life. She reminds a lot of Wallis in character. She thinks the world is made for her. She investigates everything. If I open the door to the Sauna she's immediatelly there to climb up as far as it is possible. If I am in the shower she's also there to see what I'm doing. Today when we came back from our walk she just wanted to play with something in the garden and she grabbed the closest thing, a shovel...

I have always had a brown Dobermann in the house and I just feel that without a brown one something is missing. I'm so glad that Kena is living with us even if she can drive me crazy once in a while with her strong will. In training she's superb, she's never giving up and she loves it. So far so good. Below you can see her with her new friend Gem-Givveeon He-Man alias Totte.

9 December

It's like usual with the winter again. First we have a wonderful white snow everywhere and then suddenly it's disappeared and all we have left is ice. We can hardly go out on the street. When it's winter it shall be winter, not this whatever it is, something between.

Now it's time for a lot of activities for the children in school, Lucia day celebrations. Emma had yesterday evening, tonight for us parents, on saturday in stable and Hannah has for us parents on monday evening. I'm glad we "just" have three children. Next year it will be Christopher also. It will be a whole week with activities...

With training and dogactivities nothing new. We're just taking everything very slow for the moment. The weather and soon Christmas have made us to decide that we will start up the training again after new year with training indoors and then when it gets better outside we continue there.

This is how she looks....

2 December

Updated with new pics of Cillian Connor v Jahrestal in PUPPIES.

30 November

So, now I'm back. From flowers in the fields to a lot of snow. We have been to Hamburg for a meeting with Cillian Connor v Jahrestal. First I must say, if you are going to Hamburg try to live on the hotel Le Meridien Stillhorn. I have never in my life met so many nice people working at the same place. Everything was just perfect...

Well it wasn't the hotel I was going to tell about. Yanta had a meeting. I wanted to try one last time to see IF. This was the first time I met Connor myself. He was very nice. Calm and quiet in rest and full of energy in training and playing. Yanta liked him too so the matings weren't any problems but it hasn't been any problems earlier either. Now it's just to wait.

Many thanks to Slavko, owner of Connor, "uncle" Silvo, his roadcompanion and finally Alojz, breeder of Connor who all were so kind and especially Slavko who drove all the way from Maribor in Slovenia to meet us in Hamburg. Also I want to thank Renée and her daughter Rebecka who travelled with me, without them I would have had some problems to look after Christopher. Below a new pic of Connor.

23 November

I need more hours during a day. Someone who feels the same? The former weekend Emma had end of the trottingschool with some competitions with the horses etc. The ponies are really marvellous that always show their brightest side to the children and also are used in real trottingcompetitions during weekends.

Now it's time again, to travel a bit to the south with Yanta. We will go on Thursday and meet up with Cillian Connor v Jahrestal on Friday. Many thanks to the owners of Cillian that are willing to travel so far to make a meeting with Yanta. Hopefully we also will have a nice time so this also can be like a small vacation before all the crazyness will start to christmas. I tell you more when I return next week.

Below, a pick of Emma and Ariel trotting as fast as possible. Well as fast as a horse of her size can trot...

17 November

Suddenly I got a lot to do. Christopher has been ill for almost two weeks and today we had to visit the doctor. He got antibiotics so I do hope he will be healthy again after that. By the way, I look for some tips how to get Christopher to take his medicine. I understand him, it tastes badly but it's also necessary.

Our training has because of that and some other things made us to take a brake. Now we also wait for some bad weather tonight. We wait for a snowstorm, not good but hopefully later on we can start some training inside during the winter. Our last track was really good. Yanta was like a vacuum cleaner and it was wonderful to follow her.

What more? Yes, Yanta is already on heat two weeks too early. I had to contact the maleowner about some new dates and I really hope it will be the thumbs up. Our choise of male is Cillian Connor von Jahrestal and you can read som more about him under PUPPIES. Now we wait...

1 November

Now the days just rushed away and November appeared in the calendar. Soon the snow comes... We still train obedience and some tracking and maybe when the snow comes we continue indoor at the riding-school. I have had some showtraining with the youngest boy in our "gang". Ozzy, 5 months old, has participated in his first show (I hope) but I will return with his result later on.

Yanta is really full of energy for the moment. It's always like this before she will be on heat. She's "crazy" normally but now it's more than twice. It's really sparkling in her eyes of joy and mischief. We have decided to try to mate her one more time. She will probably be on heat in the end of November and it will be time for a mating in beginning of December. There's a pic on the chosen male on PUPPIES and there are more to come...

Here, below you can se pics of the youngest, Ozzy, named Alcatraz in the pedigree and Kola, a lady that once in a while gives her owner more than one grey hair. All the dogs are different but we're having a lot of fun. Soon I will present our training on the page TRAINING so you can see what we are doing.

24 October

"Raindrops keep falling on my head...". Definitely the sun is on vacation. Still we are doing well with training. We train some obedience and we have started up with some tracking again BUT we have to look out because the moosehunt is going on and when it's moosehunt the hunters go crazy. If something is moving in the forest you never know if they shoot or not. Every hunter wants to shoot the biggest moose and then they believe it's standing in every bush. So for some weeks we will track on places we know there aren't any hunters.

I want to say welcome to a new training companion. Janina with the male "Totte". His real name is Gem'Givveeon He-Man. He's a dog that really loves to work and seems so far to be a dog with an excellent character but also a nice outlook. Janina has just started to train with him but if everything seems to work out well we have said that she will try with a competition in May next year, so now we will train hard before the snow comes. Below you can see a pic of "Totte".

17 October

It has been a tough week. We have catched a cold at least three of us. I'm included. The throat is hurting, every nights sleep is destroyed by a terrible cough and the head feels like an anvil used by at least ten hammers. What type of whining is that? There are people having it worse. Enough about that.

It starts to be in the end of the year and most of the dogsports will soon take a small break. There is just a couple of shows left but in working I believe there are more left. We just train a bit and I try to help some people with their dogs.

I have updated some text on Baja Halls site. Her halfsisters and brothers are doing well in USA. They are on top in almost all the races they participate in. Now we just wait that Baja Hall will stay healthy and hopefully will come out on a racetrack next year.

I also have a lot of pics that I will try to make ready for my gallery, but it takes a little time and for the moment it's lack of it. Below you can see a pic from our daughter Hannahs last time in trottingschool for this year.

8 October

Now it's autumn! I really hope we'll get some more days with sunshine than during the summer but it doesn't seem to be so. It's raining and raining. We have been on a small vacationtrip to my father up in northern Finland. We had some wonderful days but we got also the first snow for this part of the year. It was when we visited the Santa Claus in Rovaniemi. I think the Santa was happy of the snow. If it would been the first snow here at home I would have sayed NO, NO! But there in Finland it feels like OK.

We try to train twice a week but the fields are really wet and then I mean soaking wet. I'm glad Yanta doesn't care about weather when we train. She's just happy...

What a phonecall can do much. Today Jaap phoned when Zarina was having puppies. When he phoned she had got 9 black puppies. Everytime when I speak to Jaap or Ria I get happy for a very long time. This friendship with Jaap and Ria is something I NEVER would exchange...

7 September

Hello again. I must say we have started up well. We have now trained every monday and friday at the club. It's not easy with Christopher around the feet throwing the toy to Yanta and giving her something to eat but we try at least to train a little. Thanks to Jeanette T. that wants to train and makes us to do that too.

This weekend I have been working at a show as steward. It was very nice. Lovely place, wonderful weather and very good arrangements but also some really good dogs. I can congratulate the Dobermann pup who got BIS puppy, Mezzrow's Jeremy.

I have understood that some has been to the IDC in Italy. To them who couldn't go there you can within a few days see the results HERE.

Now it will be quiet from me for some days. We will go on vacation next week, just to visit my father up in northern Finland, but after that I will write something again...

29 August

We went out training obedience on Friday. The first time for a long time. Yanta hadn't forgot how to do. The precision wasn't perfect but who cares if the dog loves to do the work, and nowadays we just train for fun.

Strange that there are things that make dogs upset even if they have seen theese things every day during many years and we every time say to Yanta alias Ms Hyde to behave herself. Still, every time when someone comes with rollerblades Ms Hyde forgets everything called manners. Yanta has of all my dogs had the best manners but as I said with rollerblades around she moves to Dr Jekyll - Ms Hyde.

15 August

It's time for some congrats again. First to a granddaughter to Wallis, Ztheffanie v h Wantishof, who ended on an honourable second place in the best female class at the Swedish Dobermannclub specialshow. Winner and BOB was the topwinning Irinland Zara Zeife, owned by H. Blosch in France. Results, see here >. Good luck to Ztheffie in IDC...

Congrats also to Jima (name, see below) that made a good working result in tracking and has got SPH II (Swedish working where the SPH III is the best).

8 August

CONGRATULATIONS! To Gräfin Diana Jimona of Mon-Ja-Mes that received her last CAC yesterday and became Swedish showchampion. She's of course a daughter to Jivago v h Wantij.

Me myself has been working on show as steward both today and yesterday. With huntingdogs. The people around this show are allways lovely and make me to take this show every year. More of theese kind of people...

1 August

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's time again. Yanta will be five years today. It feels as if she came to us yesterday. Maybe it is like some people say. "The older you get, the faster the time goes".

When I was teenager the time felt like going in slowmotion. A year was like two at least. Now a year is like six months. How come? Is it just a feeling or IS the time going faster when you get older? Who knows...

Nowadays Yanta really behaves like a real, sophisticated lady BUT she can also behave like a devil. She's a Dr Jekyll - Ms Hyde. When you meet her in the house and she sits in your knee I don't think many people could imagine that she for example won't let any unknown people come into our home until we say it's OK. When she's out playing with the favourite toy, she doesn't let loose without struggle etc. etc

We want to wish all her sisters and brothers a really nice BIRTHDAY!!!

14 July

End of all travelling for this time. Be have been to Idre. Be have been swimming, me and Emma was out riding late one evening (some unknown muscles reminded me that they still exist), we have watched the view and counted reindeers, 61 of them this year. Idre is a place with activities for all ages.

Second week we went to South of Sweden. It's the opposite to Idre, just lazy days on the beach or some small trips in the closest area looking at art. Very nice... Take a look in my gallery, there you can see some pictures from our vacation.

My friends male, Ali v h Wantishof, has made the exterior for the Swedish korung so now he can put Korad in front of his name. Now we're just waiting for the final CAC to Jima and she will become champion.

Maybe I will take Yanta out on a show later on, we'll see...

25 June

Think, it's already midsummer. At least here in Borlänge I believe the summer has gone on vacation. It's raining and it's around 12 degrees outside BUT I must say I prefer this than snow and winter. Now it's time for us to go on vacation. Tomorrow we leave for our paradise Idre for a week then we come back home for one day and will continue to south of Sweden for another week. It's a bit of must, to see the mountains and the sea. It's some sort of freedom to look out on something that never seems to end. Maybe it's because we have the forest around the corners of our house and not much of a view.

Now I have a new adress on my site so I hope everything will workout better. I hope I have a lot to write about when we come back from our vacation.

By the way, check up Yantas brother York, nice, isn't he?

I want to wish you all a VERY NICE MIDSUMMER!

8 June

Long time since I updated my news. I have some technical problems to get what I do on my page out on my site BUT soon I will change adress on my website and then I hope it will be easier and also funnier for me to do something.

I must say it's VERY quiet for the moment. I have started to work as steward on the dogshows again after 1,5 years. I like it, maybe it's because I have had the opportunity to work with very good judges.

Now I can see an end of the mess upstairs in the house. The girls rooms are ready and soon everything is cleaned up. Thanks to that. My computer doesn't live with the turtles any more and I have a lot of space around it again. Great...

22 May

First some more CONGRATULATIONS to Ronnie and Veronika. Their female Jima ( real name look below) has been to two shows with two CACs as result. One more and she's champion. Go for it...

Yanta is on heat. It's the first time in many years I don't have a male in the house at the same time. Jagger was good because he showed a month before that it's time and I was prepared. Now I noticed it later. Of course I know when Yanta will be on heat but it was easy with Jagger.

20 YEARS!!! I have had dobermann for 20! years. The time is really going quickly. It started with a brown tiny one Dobster's Baretta (Altenhofer Maxi-Male - Samantha), it continued with Fresco's Krissie-Krebina (Norseman's Yaeeger - Fresco's Corona-Caprice) unfortunately smashed by a car at age of four. After her, Farah du Clos des Poulains Noirs (Joska Jakar v Diaspora - Chanel du Clos des Poulains Noirs), the queen Wallis v h Wantij (Antheus v d'Araceli - Quende v h Wantij) and Chiara Novalis with the toppedigree Prinz v Norden Stamm - Mia v Norden Stamm but with a missing tooth came in to my life. Finally I had my king Jagger-Jiawan des Hautes Crêtes (Odin v h Wantij - Wallis v h Wantij) and now, just Yanta v h Wantishof (Ilijadin v Franckenhorst - Britt v h Wantij). What more from theese 20 years of the breed? Yes, all the people I have met and some real close friends I have got during the years both in Sweden and abroad. Greetings to them...

8 May

Finally warm and nice outside, I can feel the body waking up after a long tough winter. I believe my page will be like this for a while with long time between the news. We don't do so much in the dogworld for the moment and I don't think people are interested in reading what where are doing at home.

I want to CONGRATULATE Ronnie and Veronika for the success with Gräfin Diana Jimona Of Mon-Ja-Mes that now have the working for the CACs and championtitles in show and today their male Ali v h Wantishof passed the mentalitytest of the Swedish korung with +158 points which is good for having had a messy life earlier. Both of them are of course having Jivago as father.

We visited "our" horse Baja Hall one week ago. She has been growing a lot but she was still very good to handle. I will very soon put out some new pictures of here on her page in the gallery. Now I can get the photos in a good way from the digitalcamera to the computer. I also hope I can get all the things I write out on my site with the FTP. It works two times out of ten and it drives me crazy...

7 April

OH BOY, the time is going. It's already april. We have been busy. We have been on vacation to my father in northern Finland and Lennart has been away for a week. With three children and animals in the house the hours aren't enough to sit by the computer.

Also we will make new rooms for the girls and it take time. The room around my computer looks like a battlefield with all the things that later on shall be in the rooms for the girls.

The weather has been nice for some time and we have spent many hours outside walking with Yanta. Soon I think it's time start up some training with her but I believe there has to be little more dry in the forest and on the fields before we start.

We will change our website and mailadress later on but I return with that when it's time. Until that I wish everyone a

HAPPY EASTER!

2 March

Hurry, hurry, it's not easy to do something with the computer when our son Christopher is around. He loves technical things, remotecontrols, mobiles, CDs, DVDs and most of all the computer with the mouse and keyboard. I know some says that we as parents learn the girls to play with dolls and the boys with cars. Here we have had toys for both girls and boys but all the time Christopher prefer to play with "boytoys" and it's nothing we have learned him.

It's not easy to make a website interesting with just one dog that for the moment just lives a quiet life. No shows, no puppies, nothing to write about.... By the way, our horse Baja Hall is training well. The trainer drives her a little faster twice a week and she behaves well. I hope we can visit her soon and see how she trains.

22 February

Yesterday a lovely day with sun and just like spring and today it's snowing again. For the moment there is really nothing happening, no shows, no training. I hope it gets better later on when the snow has disappeared and the motivation returns. It's also easier to get out and take the children with me. Sometimes I miss the way they train in Europe, a lot of people and they have fun (I hope).

Today I had a visit from a male out of Jivago. A friend of us will try to take care of him. His earlier life hasn't been good. Still when he came into our house he was looking around and then layed down with a bone. For all he has gone trough I must say he had a very stable character. I hope everything works out for this new family.

15 February

Yesterday it was and also the first day I felt that my "hair was above the water". It's amazing how sunny warm springlike weather can make people feel so well. If it continues like this maybe this oldie (me) comes up from the water totally and starts to feel more happy.

About oldie, every time when I look at some athletic competitions on TV they say "Oh, look at that one he/she is already 30 years." 30?! years, me then? I'm closer to 40, is my life over? I'm glad I have to do with dogs and not athletics. With dogs you can be as old you want and thanks for that.

About my gallery, have I done anything? Nothing. The children are ill again. Hannah gets penicillin and Christopher is coughing and sad because of that so he is all the time around me. As I feel I think I will be ill again to.

But Yanta then, wasn't this a page for my dogs? Yes, and Yanta feels fine. She steels everything if she can eat it and she's crazy as usual outside. Once in a while I get crazy when she's running around my feet so she doesn't miss any small peaces of food but then when we're out she's so fun so I forgive her crazyness in food. But better with a dog that eats than a dog that you have to feed.

8 February

IF it would have been as we desired it would have been time for . They who have visited my page also know the answer . It's going up and down but often it feels like I have been thrown down in a black hole where I can't see or move. I believe I feel like this because I just have one female and this is the first time there would have been puppies in our kennelname.

We have tried two times with no results and we will not try any more with Yanta. so it's just to look forward and se if there will be something else in the future.

I'm collecting pictures and when it's done I will continue with my gallery, I let you know when it's ready. "Don't worry,be happy".

1 February

Many days has passed again. We got a real winter now with plenty of snow and today a lot of sunshine. Still I'm glad we are coming closer and closer warmer and longer days.

I have been speaking with an expert of fertility on dogs. It's not easy to know why a female don't get any puppies. There are a lot of reasons. 1. It can be that the female and male don't "fit", 2. The PH inside the female can be wrong for the sperm or the eggs, 3. The female aborts before the third week or after the same (different causes) 4. Or just a plain infection you can cure with antibiotics. 5. Maybe you just need to try an other male. It's possible to make an examination but it only tells if there is something wrong not if the female can be pregnant or not.

That was my report for this time. See you...

22 January

23,4 degrees below zero this morning. The warmest today was 18 degrees below zero. That's too much. "Oh summer, where are thou?" For every year I more and more prefer warm and nice weather. To have the door open so all the two- and fourlegged can walk in and out how they want themselves. But then we have mosquitos, wasps, spiders...

I have tried to get in touch with the expert without result. She is very busy and can be reached twice a week by phone but I will try until I can speak with her and Yanta will not be on heat yet for a long time. I will let those who are interested to know what she says.

I must say that my thoughts are spreading out like the arms of an octopussy, every where.

16 January

Here I am again. Yesterday I broke down. I didn't even have "my nose above the water". I felt exactly the same as when my first female got smashed by a car. A heavy emptyness. But the last thing that leaves me is HOPE!

I will contact an expert in this my problem with Yanta and after that...

I want to thank all people for the nice words and all support. It's nice to know that there are people that still care when someone is sad.

SMILE! :)

No, no, no we couldn't see any puppies when we made the ultrasound. I'm so sad, so sad why us? I will continue to cry and break down then we will se what it gives as result. But it's not easy when you just have one female, a good one, and people waits for a puppy and there is no puppies...

I return with news when I'm ready with all the crying and misery...

11 January

It's so quiet with just Yanta in the house. You hardly notice her IF there aren't food of course. Sometimes I have to call on her so I know that she's in the house. But there's a big difference when she's outside...

I have looked a little at her and I believe that I can see some signs on her. BUT I thought so last time also that maybe she expect puppies. I don't believe before we have made an ultrasound. We will make the ultrasound on tuesday, after that we'll see if we can celebrate or just continue to cry... I let you know.

By the way, I had to change a bit on my page with our dogs. I have to get something new because there are almost just angels...

5 January

Tears, aren't there any end of them? First, here and one second later gone forever... Today, Jagger, my everything in the dogworld, left me and my family. He was looking as he wanted to throw up so I let him out. He stopped before the stairs out in the garden, layed down and was gone...

Jagger should have been ten years in february but he was like a puppy. He was allways running around and was happy. I , as late as last week, studied his lovely head and noticed that he didn't have any grey hairs. It was like yesterday when I kept him in my hand after his birth and I said: what a head! this dog will be mine.

Gone is the special look that allways told me, "more work" when we was out, gone is the sound of an elephant running through the house and his special noice every evening when he wanted to have some dryfood around eight o'clock. He never missed the time.

It has been an honour to have a dog like Jagger. He and his mother Wallis have shown how a real dobermann shall be. A dobermann that in EVERY situation gives everything they can. This is what we will have in our mind for the future. Now we hope Yanta will show something nice on the ultrasound.
